Completing one will allow you to not only advance in the corporate ladder of the company you work in, it will also allow you to switch to a better paying position in a better company.

UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, BERKELEY:

The part-time MBA program is offered by the Haas School of Business in this University and concentrates in the areas of accounting, finance, international business, marketing, etc. It has a rough estimate of 803 part-time MBA students and has the excellent reputation of being a top business school in the U.S. The part-time tuition fee comes to about 2,700$ per credit. The course has a duration of about 3 years and extensive research is carried out in various centers such as the Asia Business Center, etc. with a global focus.

NEW YORK UNIVERSITY:

The part-time MBA program is offered by the Leonard N. Stern School of Business in this University with a strong emphasis on leadership strategies, manufacturing, international business management, entrepreneurship, etc. This University has approximately 2,031 students enrolled in this program. Three areas of specializations are offered namely Data, Models and Decision or Luxury marketing and students can also go for dual degrees. The tuition fee comes to about 1,800$ per credit and the course has a duration of about 3 years.

UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN - ANN ARBOR:

This course is offered by the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at this University and has an estimate of about 366 students enrolled. The program has been designed to explore and cover the various sectors of Business and Management, training the students in critical reasoning, questioning and leadership skills. For hand-on training students can be a part of organizations such as Tauber Institute for Global Management, etc. This course has a duration of about 3 years and a tuition fee of around 1,850$ per credit.

CARNEGIE MELLON UNIVERSITY:

This course is offered by the Tepper School of Business at this University and trains students either in the field of General Management or one of the many specializations offered. It has a total of 173 students enrolled in the program with a tuition fee of around 1,820$ per credit. Dual degrees can also be pursued and students get hands-on international experience through global exchange programs. The program has a duration of about 3 years.

NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY:

This course is offered by the Kellogg School of Management at this University and has a total of 813 students as a part of this program. The course concentrates on General management concepts with options of dual degrees available. The estimated tuition fee is around 5,500$ per credit and has a duration of 2 years. Many organizations such as General Motors Research Center and Center for Executive Women are available to provide students with an excellent experience in this field.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS:

Most of the programs require a good GMAT score of 600+ with some amount of work experience preferably in the relevant field. Language proficiency requirements must also be satisfied in the form of TOEFL (>85) or IELTS (>6) by international students. Other additional requirements such as Statement of Purpose, Resume and Letters of Recommendation may also apply. Many part-time MBA programs are available by accredited universities which impart the same quality of education and training as that of full-time MBAs. But make sure to select the course with care i.e. with relevance to your individual interest of specialization and other personal requirements.
